The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) recently published a draft Environmental Sustainability Collaboration Guidance Note (Draft Guidance) for consultation. The Draft Guidance aims to help businesses better understand how the CCCS views collaborations between businesses with environmental sustainability objectives and provide targeted guidance on how potential competition issues can be avoided.
In this update, we outline key areas of the Draft Guidance and compare it against a similar guidance issued by the European Commission and a similar draft guidance issued by the UK Competition and Markets Authority.
