WongPartnership clinched multiple awards at this year’s Asian Legal Business (ALB) SE Asia Law Awards.

We were recognised for our expertise across multiple areas:

In VTAC's Business Combination with 17LIVE Inc, our Head of Equity Capital Markets Gail Ong and Partners James Choo and Ong Kuan Chung acted for the joint financial advisers in Vertex Technology Acquisition Corporation’s (VTAC) business combination with 17 LIVE Inc. Gail and James had led the Firm’s team and acted for the issue managers and underwriting banks in VTAC’s earlier initial public offering and listing.

In DITO Telecommunity Corp Financing, our Head of Banking & Finance Christy Lim and Deputy Head of China practice Miao Miao were involved in providing corporate and financing advice to China Telecom International Investment Private Limited.

Our Head of International Arbitration Koh Swee Yen SC was also named Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year. Just last year, Swee Yen was named Litigation Lawyer of the Year at The Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards and was subsequently listed in the Global Arbitration Review’s 45 under 45 list.
