WongPartnership’s Banking & Finance team has maintained its stellar track record as one of Singapore’s leading banking and finance practices, most recently being the recipient of the “Banking and Financial Services Law Firm of the Year” award at the Asian Legal Business SE Asia Law Awards 2024.

Our practice is a pureplay banking and finance practice which has been consistently recognised as a top-tier practice and a leading banking team in major legal publications, and is now one of the largest “true blue” banking practices in Singapore, with a team size of 25 lawyers led by 7 partners. Together with our member firms in WPG (our regional law network), our fully dedicated practitioners have been involved in numerous headline financing transactions across Asia showcasing the team’s breadth of expertise and ability.

Offering the full range of banking and finance legal services, our Banking & Finance Practice specialises in structuring, documenting and advising on various types of finance transactions. As advisers to domestic and international banks, financial institutions and corporations on a wide variety of loan transactions, we have a depth of knowledge that allows our highly regarded team to be a preferred choice for some of the largest and most intricate transactions in town. We are also a forerunner in the area of sustainable finance, having been involved in multiple green loans and sustainability-linked financing transactions, and many firsts in this aspect of financing.

We are honoured to have received the recognition and remain committed to the growth and development of the Banking & Finance landscape in Singapore and regionally. We would like to thank all of our clients, supporters, business partners and friends for the continuous support.
