Singapore, 18 December 2019 – WongPartnership has consistently been recognised for its efforts in supporting the development of women in the legal profession and providing innovative work/life programmes to enable women to pursue legal careers.

At the Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards held on 13 November 2019 in Hong Kong, our firm received the Award for the "Best National Firm for Women in Business Law" award for a record sixth time, and the "Country Award for Singapore" for the eighth time. We were also presented with the "Best National Firm for Talent Management" award for its commitment to advocacy of women at all levels and their progression within the firm; and the "Best Firm for Diversity by National Firm" award for its creativity and innovation in supporting the development of current and future women leaders in the legal sector for the second time running. WongPartnership has been the only Firm to be recognised in these two categories since their inception.

Apart from the Firm Awards, two of our partners were also recognised for their practice area expertise this year. Sim Bock Eng, Head of our Specialist & Private Client Disputes practice was named "Best in Trusts and Estates" while Wendy Lin, partner in our Commercial & Corporate Disputes and International Arbitration practices was recognised as a "Rising Star in Litigation".

To date, the Firm has garnered 25 Euromoney Legal Media Group's Asia Women in Business Law Awards since 2011.

The Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards celebrates achievements of law firms and in-house individuals and teams setting the standard in female-friendly working practices, and women leading the field in practice areas across Asia. The winners were chosen based on independent expert opinions across the Asia-Pacific region.
