Annabel KANG is a Partner in the Corporate Real Estate Practice.
Her main areas of practice include property-related work including sales and purchases, development work, mortgages, mortgagees' sales and tenancy matters.
Annabel is a committee member of the Board for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. Annabel graduated from the University of Nottingham and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.
Significant transactions that Annabel has been involved in include advising / acting for the following:
- Great Eagle Holdings Limited in their joint bid with the CapitaLand Limited group for a 1.1ha land parcel at Central Boulevard, Singapore.
- Gee-I Investments Pte. Ltd. in its purchase of a land parcel at Yishun Street 51 (Parcel B) Singapore for a consideration of S$184.1 million pursuant to a tender from the Housing and Development Board as agent for the Government of Singapore, and the financing of the same.
- Perennial Real Estate Holdings on the strata-subdivision of a multi-tenanted commercial development known as AXA Tower into approximately 396 strata units with addition and alteration works to be carried out concurrently with the sale of the said strata units.
- Credit Industriel et Commercial in the transfer of mortgages in Singapore as part of the sale of its private banking business to CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA.
- Certain stakeholders in relation to the statutory vesting of mortgages pursuant to the merger of certain banks under sections 14A and 14C of the Banking Act.
- The Singapore branch of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited in the transfer of its retail and wealth management business to DBS Bank Ltd.
