Billy BERNARDUS

Billy BERNARDUS is a Partner of Makes & Partners, a member of WPG. Billy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, Catholic University of Parahyangan, in Bandung, Indonesia. Billy began his career as a junior associate in a prominent law firm in Jakarta with intensive focus on civil and commercial litigation and general corporate matters.

He joined Makes & Partners Law Firm in 2012 and, in 2017, became its youngest partner. Billy has handled many international and cross-border commercial transactions and is specialising in international capital market transactions (144a and Reg S transaction) such as global notes offering, medium term note offering, international private placement and initial public offering.

Billy has been recognised as the Leading Lawyer Rising Star by International Financial Law Review (IFLR) 1000 in 2019 as well as 2020 for his practice in capital markets and M&A.
